Meet the Teacher

Meet Mrs. Stephanie
About Me
Hi there, I’m Stephanie—the hands behind the glue stick, the voice behind the stories, and the heart behind Crayon Gospel.
I have a degree in Elementary Education and spent several years teaching 2nd grade before stepping away from the classroom to raise my daughter. But even outside the classroom, I’ve never stopped teaching. From Sunday School rooms to midweek Bible classes, I’ve spent years guiding little hearts in my church community—and I’ve loved every glitter-covered minute of it.
As a former “bored at school” kid myself, I know how powerful it is when learning is full of joy, curiosity, and play. That’s why I’m passionate about creating experiences that light up young minds and introduce them to big truths in ways that make sense for little hearts.
Crayon Gospel is my way of bringing together everything I love: the beauty of Scripture, the magic of hands-on learning, and the wonder-filled perspective of childhood. My approach is both experienced and childlike—grounded in what works, and sprinkled with whimsy.
Here, you’ll find Bible units, crafts, games, and printables designed to help you teach your toddlers to early elementary-aged kids through joyful, playful learning. Whether you’re a parent, teacher, or Bible class teacher, I’m so glad you’re here.

Mrs. Stephanie’s Motto?
Let’s color outside the lines and grow little hearts in God’s big love—one crayon at a time.
Things Mrs. Stephanie Loves
Because every great maker has their go-to tools, favorite snacks, and guilty pleasures…
- Favorite Creative Tool: A rainbow of crayons (but her scissors and glue stick might disagree)
Material She Can’t Resist Buying (Even When She Doesn’t Need It): Crayons, Colorful card stock and all the stickers!
Go-To Creative Snack: Fruit snacks—easy to grab between finger paints and memory verse songs
Most Likely to Be Found Wearing: A paint-splattered apron and curls full of glitter and finger paint
Activity She Keeps Coming Back To: Simple Bible-based crafts—sweet, meaningful, and made for little hands
Secret Obsession: Reorganizing her bins of googly eyes and popsicle sticks in a system only she understands (it’s practically a gift)
Dream Project: Creating a whole season of play-based Bible units that families can actually use and love!
Words She Lives By: “Little hands. Big truths. Always covered in glue and grace.”
